Footprints give burglars away
BURGLARS led police right to their front door after leaving footprints in the snow. The man and the woman helped themselves to £200 of bedding after smashing their way into a Nottingham store early yesterday. They were seen by a passing motorist who called police. Officers arrived at the scene to find an 800m trail to the couple's house. 'They may as well have left a "burglars live here" sign' said owner Steve Reddish.
