Went to Ealing Parking Services today to get some parking permits. What I didn't expect was the 30 minute queue. This was mainly caused by the fact that the office has to deal with parking fines as well as permits. And unsurprisingly - every single person in front of me in the queue - had been wrongly penalised for a parking violation they clearly didn't commit.

Except for one chap, who threw a tantrum because he couldn't get a book of 'residents only' parking tickets without providing evidence of his address... which he couldn't provide because he apparently didn't ever receive any mail it was all in his girlfriend's name. Yes one's bank account and tenancy agreements and credit card mail etc is often in someone else's name... err No.
